Northway has Sefton’s only well established Primary Dyslexia Resourced Base.
There are 12 places for children who have a statement identifying their
dyslexia special needs. We operate a fully inclusive policy, and all
pupils enjoy a fully integrated primary education experience.
The children come to the resource base once a day for their individual
multisensory lessons.
They spend the rest of their day
in their mainstream classes with support from the dyslexia support
assistants. All teachers work closely with the dyslexia resource base
staff and are fully aware of the individual targets and progress of
each pupil.
