PUPIL PREMIUM

The Pupil Premium Grant is designed to ensure that all pupils make the best possible progress whilst in school, regardless of their socio-economic background.

The Pupil Premium provides funding for pupils who:

  • Have been in receipt of free school meals at any point in the past 6 years

  • Have been in local authority care for 1 day or more

  • Have parent(s) who are currently serving in the armed forces or whose parent has served in the forces in the past

 

Schools are accountable for the spending of this money. Performance tables capture the achievement of disadvantaged pupils covered by the Pupil Premium.
