Maya Masks

Class: Y4 - Mrs Farrington Year: 2018 - 2019

Animals were very important to the Ancient Maya and they all had their own meanings. We designed our own masks, choosing animals to represent aspects of our personality. We sculpted the masks fom clay. Because jade was the most precious material to the Maya, we chose shades of green as the main colours.
