MEET THE WELLBEING TEAM
Everyone at Northway takes mental health and wellbeing seriously. However. we have a team of people who have been specifically trainined to support the mental health of both children and adults.
MENTAL HEALTH & WELLBEING LEADERS
Designated Mental Health Lead
Deputy Head & Designated Mental Health Lead
National Educational Leader in Mental Health
At Northway, we have two mental health leaders who are both qualified adult Mental Health First Aiders. Both leaders have been trained through the Anna Freud & Sefton Link Programme to support children's mental health and wellbeing.
MENTAL HEALTH FIRST AIDERS
We have a significant number of staff who are fully qualified adult Mental Health First Aiders. The role of an adult Mental Health First Aider is to offer initial support to any adult experiencing wellbeing or mental health issues and to then signpost that person to further support. If you think you would like to talk to one of our Mental Health First Aiders, please contact the school office and ask for one to contact you!
